The Juniper Networks EX4650-48Y-AFO Ethernet Switch is a compact, high-density 1RU platform engineered for enterprise campus distribution deployments and top-of-rack data center environments. Powered by Junos OS, the EX4650 delivers wire-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 performance, supporting up to 2 Tbps of switching throughput.
Featuring 48 fixed 10GbE/25GbE SFP28 ports and 8 fixed 40GbE/100GbE QSFP28 uplink/core ports, the switch provides flexible transition paths from 10GbE/25GbE to 40GbE/100GbE architectures. It supports advanced features such as EVPN-VXLAN fabric architectures, Virtual Chassis technology, and telemetry streaming. The EX4650-48Y-AFO includes dual AC power supplies and high-reliability fan trays configured for front-to-back (AFO / port-to-FRU) airflow.
