Name: AMD Wraith Prism RGB LED CPU Heatsink Cooler
Brand: AMD CPU
SKU: AMD-712-000075-REV:E

Question 1

Which CPU sockets and platforms are compatible with the AMD Wraith Prism cooler?

Accepted Answer

The AMD Wraith Prism is designed for AMD desktop platforms utilizing the standard AMD dual-latch mounting bracket, including Socket AM4 and Socket AM5, as well as legacy AM2/AM3/AM3+/FM2+ motherboards. Always verify motherboard clearance before installation.

Question 2

What is the form factor and cooling design of the AMD Wraith Prism?

Accepted Answer

The AMD Wraith Prism is a top-flow (downdraft) air cooler featuring direct-contact copper heat pipes, an aluminum fin stack, and a translucent fan with an integrated illuminated RGB ring and AMD logo.

Question 3

What cables and connections are required to power and control the cooler?

Accepted Answer

The cooler requires a standard 4-pin PWM header for fan operation. For RGB lighting control, it includes ports to connect either the included 4-pin 12V RGB cable (for motherboard RGB sync) or the internal USB 2.0 cable (for independent per-LED/zone software control).

Question 4

How is the RGB LED lighting controlled and customized on this cooler?

Accepted Answer

Lighting can be controlled either by connecting the 4-pin RGB cable to your motherboard's RGB header using motherboard sync software, or by connecting the internal USB cable and using the dedicated AMD Wraith Prism RGB software utility (powered by Cooler Master) for zone and ring illumination control.

Question 5

Does the AMD Wraith Prism feature a physical fan speed switch?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the cooler includes a physical toggle switch (labeled 'L' for Low and 'H' for High) located beneath the fan shroud edge, allowing users to switch between quieter operation and maximum thermal dissipation performance.

Question 6

How is the AMD Wraith Prism installed on a motherboard?

Accepted Answer

The cooler mounts directly onto the standard pre-installed AMD plastic retention brackets on the motherboard using a two-sided latch clip and a cam-locking lever mechanism, requiring no custom backplate disassembly for standard AM4/AM5 boards.

Question 7

What accessories and cables are typically included with the cooler?

Accepted Answer

The package includes the AMD Wraith Prism heatsink cooler (typically with factory pre-applied thermal paste), a motherboard 4-pin RGB header sync cable, and an internal USB 2.0 header interface cable.

Question 8

What software and operating systems are supported for custom lighting control?

Accepted Answer

Custom per-zone lighting control is supported on Windows via the downloadable AMD Wraith Prism desktop application. Alternatively, standard RGB modes function via compatible motherboard UEFI/software suites (such as ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and ASRock Polychrome).

Question 9

What thermal design power (TDP) rating is the Wraith Prism designed to support?

Accepted Answer

The AMD Wraith Prism is engineered to effectively cool AMD processors with thermal design profiles up to 105W TDP under standard operating conditions.

Question 10

What warranty and support are provided with this product?

Accepted Answer

This product is backed by local distributor warranty support in Singapore for AMD CPU cooling solutions. For exact warranty duration, claims, and replacement terms, please consult Bizgram or local authorized distribution channels.
