The Palo Alto Networks PAN-QSFP-40GBASE-SR4 is a 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ optical transceiver module designed for short-reach, high-bandwidth interconnects in data centers and high-performance network security environments. Operating at a nominal wavelength of 850 nm over multimode fiber (MMF) using an MPO/MTP-12 connector interface, it supports transmission distances of up to 100 meters on OM3 MMF and up to 150 meters on OM4 MMF. This hot-pluggable module delivers dependable 40GbE connectivity and full compatibility across supported Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall platforms and network appliances.
